I work in Education Digital Delivery with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DRNSW). I have been with the Department for over 10 years and have been a Delegate and a member of the PSA Departmental Committee (DC) for more than 5 years. I am also part of the PSA Women's Council, on my second term.
I became a Central Councillor because I am sick of the factional infighting that occurs and want to work together with all Central Councillors for the benefit of all members, whether they come from large employer groups or smaller ones, regional areas, or minority groups.
I would like to see the PSA take a stronger stance in negotiations with government. Unions are most importantly about social justice and I believe that this should be at the centre of all actions taken.
